ROCOL recently hosted Alain Prevost, Technical Sales Advisor for our North American distributor, Starlight Maintenance, at our Leeds-based head office for a three-day visit packed with knowledge sharing and insights.
Originally scheduled in 2020, Alain’s trip was postponed for three years due to the pandemic, but he was finally able to make his long-awaited journey this year. Between 23rd – 25th January, Alain enjoyed an itinerary with highlights that included meeting key personnel and discussing upcoming collaborative projects, including potential exclusive product developments.
Alain says: “After being a ROCOL distributor for six years, it was great to finally meet the team in person and it was really impressive to be able to see the scale of production and quality control that goes on behind the scenes. The visit has given me a much better knowledge and understanding of the products we distribute, and all the effort that goes into maintaining quality.
“Catalogues and pictures only say so much, so to see everything in person was a fantastic opportunity that has really renewed my focus. I also had a lot of fun and really enjoyed learning about some of the local history, and I’m looking forward to returning with other members of the Starlight Maintenance team in the future.”
ROCOL invites all of our global distributors to visit and complete a tour of our headquarters to experience our inner workings first-hand, as well as have formal introductions to our management and customer service teams. We are also hoping the time will soon be right to recommence ROCOL University, a week of in-depth product training for our distributors to attend, which was an annual event before the pandemic.
ROCOL looks forward to welcoming Alain back for future visits, as well as collaborating with Starlight Maintenance on the upcoming Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas.
