On Thursday 20th June, ROCOL’s first team, ROCOL FC, took on distributors and fierce rivals FC Cutwel in an eleven-a-side charity football match, to raise money for Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust, a fantastic organisation who support children’s mental health and wellbeing.
The lads quite simply ‘brought football home’ as ROCOL FC ran out 6-1 winners, thanks to a blistering performance from top goalscorer, Jimmy Hughes, who put away 5 goals, supplemented with Tom Helliwell’s solo effort, and the icing on the cake.
A huge congratulations to the boys on their win and well done to all involved in the efforts to raise a whopping £190.
