What is your company and how did your relationship with ROCOL begin?
Based in Valencia, Spain, General Oil is dedicated to distributing industrial and automotive lubricants throughout the region. Our relationship with ROCOL came about as ROCOL were looking for local distributors to support its clients across the Spanish market.
How long have you worked with ROCOL and what attracted you to the company?
We have been working together for the last 16 years now. Originally, it was the FOODLUBE range that ROCOL manufacture that attracted us to work together. This coupled with the other specialist lubricants that ROCOL produces made working together an easy decision.
What are your favourite parts about working with ROCOL and why?
The quality of ROCOL products is one of the biggest things that sets them apart from other companies in the market. The technical service and assistance that ROCOL offer is another area that makes them stand out from the competitors. Having access to the knowledge and experience is something that we appreciate and our customers love.
What ROCOL products do you use and where do you use them?
We originally started with the FOODLUBE range to serve the food and drink industry. We spent a lot of time developing that area of the business and now offer a wide range of ROCOL products, including those designed for demanding applications, such as high-temperature chain oils.

One of our customers specialises in metal treatment. They were looking for products that would improve the performance of its high-temperature chain ovens. Through thorough testing of a range of products on offer from other competitors, they found that only ROCOL FLO-LINE 500 offered the performance they required.
