We have become the first lubricant and maintenance product manufacturer to be certified with The Vegan Society’s Vegan Trademark.
The registration will help vegan food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturers reinforce their vegan manufacturing credentials and demonstrate a commitment to quality throughout the supply chain by using vegan machine lubrication solutions.
We have secured this for the majority of the products in our FOODLUBE® and PUROL food safe lubrication ranges ensuring that our food grade products are made the way your customers deserve.

With more than 90% of vegans and vegetarians looking for vegan verification on the products they buy, we feel it is important to provide reassurance right the way down the vegan manufacturing production line.
Choosing vegan machine lubricants that display the Vegan Trademark adds another layer of transparency to your supply chain by confirming that your vegan manufacturing credentials extend beyond the ingredients used to make your products.
Food grade lubricants are now widely accepted, with products used across most food and drink production facilities as part of ongoing maintenance routines to reduce the risk of contamination.
Now, manufacturers are shifting their focus beyond food grade into specific areas such as Kosher and Halal, scrutinising the presence of allergens or certain raw materials in the oils and greases they use and, increasingly, looking for products that are suitable for use on vegan production lines.
Once again we are leading the way in the food sector in food safe lubrication and manufacturing standards for machinery maintenance.
We registered our first NSF approved products in 2001, achieved ISO 21469 accreditation in 2010, added Halal certification in 2015 followed quickly by Kosher certification in 2017.
Now, The Vegan Trademark.
Looking beyond ingredients and selecting products for vegan manufacturing machinery maintenance that have The Vegan Trademark will help eliminate any doubt about the credentials of your vegan claims and give your products a competitive edge in the fast-growing free-from category.
Managed by The Vegan Society, The Vegan Trademark helps consumers identify products that are free from animal ingredients. First introduced in 1990, it currently appears on over 53,000 products in 79 countries, including food, drink, cosmetics, clothing and household items.
The Vegan Trademark signifies that no animal or animal-derivatives or Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) involving animals have been used in the product or manufacturing process, and that there has been no animal testing on product or ingredients, where this is controlled by the manufacturer.
