Tom Daerden, ROCOL’s Area Manager for the Benelux region, paid a visit to a vocational metalworking training centre in West Brabant, Netherlands earlier this month.
Together with Peter Rademaker of Techno Brabant B.V., Tom delivered samples of ROCOL ULTRAGUARD SC and the boric acid-free micro-emulsion ROCOL ULTRAGUARD V839 to Stichting Vakopleidingen Metaal. The school will use the products to run tests on one of the machines in their modern workshop.
Tom was also asked by the director of Stichting Vakopleidingen Metaal to give a guest lesson on March 8 at their school in Oudenbosch, Netherlands including an explanation of ROCOL products and best practices related to metalworking fluids in general.
Tom says: “These students are the future of the metalworking industry, and this was a great opportunity for us to introduce them to ROCOL’s brand, as well as our wealth of experience and knowledge. The class must have been well received because I have been asked to return and give another lesson to a younger class! If anyone else wants to join these students for an afternoon of ROCOL and the best practices of metalworking fluids from me, they’re always welcome!”
