ROCOL distributor Starlight Maintenance enjoyed a successful appearance as an exhibitor at the International WorkBoat Show when the event took place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
A trade-only conference and expo for commercial vessel owners, operators and builders, as well as the vendors and suppliers that serve them, the International WorkBoat show attracted an estimated 15,000 visitors.
Maritime consultant and supply company Starlight Maintenance has been a ROCOL distributor in the United States since 2017, operating out of Holly Springs in North Carolina. For its first International WorkBoat Show appearance since 2018, the company partnered on a stand with Syncrolift. A supplier of ship-handling equipment for shipyards, Syncrolift manufactures the Syncrolift ship lift and has been a significant player in the shipyard market for more than five decades.
Starlight Maintenance’s Technical Sales Advisor, Alain Prevost, said: “Partnering with Syncrolift for the show was a great success. Visitors to our stand commented how friendly it felt and how they never had to wait to be attended to. We had TVs playing PowerPoints with some key information and a drum of ROCOL product on display.
“We made some great new contacts during the event, who we’ve now begun to follow up with, and appreciated the opportunity to reconnect with some current customers. We’re already looking forward to partnering with Syncrolift again for the 2023 International WorkBoat Show.”
The next edition of the International WorkBoat Show will take place from 29th November – 1st December 2023 in New Orleans.
